Milton Pools Regular Gavin Andrews braved the fresh winter conditions and was rewarded with this stunning 30lbs 6oz Common during a days session on the back of our Specimen lake – Impressive Catch

Josh fishing swim 13 in the Specimen lake caught this beautiful Common unfortunately he didn’t get a weight but he estimated it to be around 16lbs.

One of our regular residents Colin Morris kicked off the winter season with an impressive 24hr session on the Specimen Lake which included 16lbs Mirror, two 16lbs Commons, 23lbs Mirror and a 24lbs Common.

On another successful session on Swim 4 on the Specimen Lake on the 11th July for 4 days Josh caught this impressive catch of Catfish at 36lbs 8oz, 40lbs 80z, 25lbs 10oz, 25lbs 10oz, 41lbs, 10lbs, 21lbs 11oz and a Grass Carp at 15lbs 8oz and a Common Carp at 18lbs 2oz

Regular Josh fishing Swim 4 on the Specimen Lake, on Monday 2nd July for 24 hours caught this amazing 36lbs 8oz Catfish and 11lbs 10oz Common Carp – another successful session Josh.

Father and son team Rob & Colin Morris fishing Swims 10 & 11 on the 1 July 2018 for a 36 hour session.  Colin caught this specimen of a Catfish at 44lbs 6oz and also Common Carp at 20lbs 4oz, two at 18lbs and a 14lbs 2oz.  Well done again Colin.

James Riley on a couple of recent fishing sessions at Milton Pools on the Specimen Lake caught this 19lbs Common Carp on Swim 3 on the 7th May and this stunning 44lbs Catfish on Swim 4 on the 21st June

Colin Morris and his dad fishing Swims 1 & 2 on the Specimen Lake on Sunday 24th June for 36 hours caught this 21lbs Common Carp, this stunning 27lbs 12oz Chagoi and a 11lbs Koi – well done again Colin

Lee Wicks and his party fishing swims 8-11 on the weekend of the 22nd June for 48 hours – Lee caught this 16lbs Common Carp and this beautiful 27lbs 8oz Chagoi

Jordan Unsworth fishing Swims 16/17 on the weekend of the 15th June caught this 28lbs and 17.12lbs carp from the Specimen Lake and after an afternoon on the House Lake caught this 11lbs catfish

Regular Milton Pools angler Josh Noall, fishing peg 4, which is one of our most popular swims on the Specimen Lake caught some impressive fish, including this Mirror Carp & Catfish, both weighing in at 22lbs respectively.

Mr Morris on swims 10 & 11 had yet another impressive session in which he caught a 14lbs 2oz Common, a stunning 19lbs Grass Carp, and then finished the session with an impressive 44lbs 8oz Catfish.

Colin Morris fishing the motorway side on the Specimen Lake had an eventful session catching a variety of Carp and Catfish, which included, 13lbs Common, 14lbs Common, 15lbs Common, 16lbs Mirror, 20lbs Common, 22lbs Common and a 32lbs Catfish some of which are photographed above.

Joe Stanger peg 17 on the specimen lake Caught these two stunning fish weighing in at 20lbs Carp and 40lbs Cat.

Josh Noall fishing the Specimen lake for 24hour caught some beautiful fish including 14lbs 6oz Mirror and a 14lbs 6oz Common.

The dixey family on Lens match lake had a great days fishing including catching variety of Carp this included Mirrors, Commons and Ghost Carp some of which are pictured above.

image1-4Josh Noall had an outstanding 24hour session catching 15 fish from the House Lake including an 18lb Ghostie and a 15lb Mirror Carp and then moved on to the Specimen Lake for the last two hours of his fishing session and caught a 23lbs 4oz Common and a 14lbs Grass Carp.  Massive well done from us all here at Milton Pools Fishery.

Steve Salmon, who also joined his brother-in-law Mark the bailiff, caught one of the most popular species of the evening, a 14lbs Cat, an impressive night.

Mr R Broome fishing the Specimen Lake on swim 4 caught this well sized carp weighing in at 21lbs.

Milton Pools Bailiff Mark Lewin fishing swims 16 & 17 on the Specimen lake caught this impressive 41lbs Cat Fish, Well done from us all.

Liam, a Milton Pools regular, joining Mark on pegs 16 and 17, caught this feisty 26lbs Catfish along with this impressive 36lbs Cat fish adding to an eventful nights fishing, kicking off the start of the season for the Milton Pools Catfish.
